Whale Harbor Restaurant
For more than 60 years, Whale Harbor has been a landmark in Islamorada. Over the decades it has weathered hurricanes, preserved lifesaving history in its lighthouse, and continually reinvented itself. After the original building was lost to fire, the property was reimagined as a vibrant multi-use waterfront destination—now home to the popular SandBAR rooftop bar and the recently opened Flagler Station Steakhouse.
While the beloved seafood buffet closed in late 2025, an exciting new restaurant concept featuring fresh flavors and a reimagined dining experience is expected to open soon, continuing Whale Harbor’s tradition of evolving with the times.
